So, I got another copyright tag on another video. That. Is. IT. I am THROUGH having those videos on my account and THROUGH dealing with "copyright issues". As soon as I get to a place where YouTube is not blocked, I am removing every single video. People are way too paranoid in this world.

First Viacom snags my "Buttons" vid. Then another company beginning with a V snagged the "Run to You" video. What is wrong with these people?

I'M NOT MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT.
THEY'VE GOT PLENTY OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ALREADY.
I AM WELL AWARE THAT I DON'T OWN ANYTHING IN THEM AND EVEN MAKE NOTE OF IT.

Viacom and all others: STOP BEING PARANOID. You've got enough of a hold on people. You have YouTube's source code! You have access to people's YouTube accounts! You can even WATCH what people are doing with their accounts! You have enough control over what people do.

STOP BEING SO FREAKIN' PARANOID.

Apparently, a 'third party' made a copyright claim on my YouTube video "Buttons" because of the selected music. This seems really odd to me considering how many music videos using their music exist on YouTube. I even put a disclaimer on the video description that said I didn't own anything.

This happen to anybody else? Do you think it's for real, or did someone just flag it for the sake of spite?

Not to mention that it was just short of reaching 10,000 views when it was flagged.

I'm serious, though: if it's for real, then there goes all my videos, because each and every one of them has copyrighted, per say, music in them.

This also happened with the Jak/Rayn video 'Run to You', but the video wasn't blocked, and the claim has since been revoked. So, what the hey?

Edit: You can still view the video on my profile, just so you know, so let's rack up some more views and get it over 10,000!

Sorry I haven't been around here much - not really doing much drawing or anything... I've been hanging around on MySpace and LiveJournal a lot, so you can catch me there. Hopefully I'll do some sketches tonight and upload them soon.

I'm also looking into getting a tablet, but I don't know where to begin looking. Do you guys have any ideas? They would be greatly appreciated.

It's canon, at least as far as the movie goes. But I just can't make myself like it. Obviously, Drake and Vasquez get along almost perfectly, but their onscreen dynamic is off. It probably isn't Mark's fault or even Jenette's - it might just be... bad writing?

Pick a name. No, seriously, pick one. Pretty much everybody ships it.

Um, well, they just kind of get together.

First, let me point out that it's nonexistent, stemming only out of Hudson's own insane jealousy. I came up with it when I decided that there would be a sequel to "Aliens: Solar Winds", thinking that it would make an interesting subplot.

I don't know. I stopped writing the fic, I guess.

Hudson/Vasquez. No competition there. I could rant for hours on why they work so WELL together, but if I did, I'd lose all my readers and... well, I don't know. They work well.

A lot of people like Razer/Rayn, so I won't be mean and make that one go away. Ripley/Clemens, however, makes no sense to me.

I stopped watching Voyager.

Like anybody cares anymore, BUT... it looks like JakII: Renegade Alpha is going to be permanently discontinued. Sorry, guys, but I have hit a wall and there's nowhere I can go from here. I've lost my interest in the Jak fandom.

Too bad, because the story was awesome. I had it all planned out, too, and now it's going to the place where discontinued fics go.

If anybody cares to know, I can put up the entire synopsis on LiveJournal for public viewing. If anybody wants to continue to fic or maybe create offshoot fics, you're welcome to - I will welcome anything. Who knows, maybe those sorts of things will get me back on track again.
